Happy Birthday Grandpa Haynes!

So it was about 5:30 this morning....I had been a good girl and slept all night....but I was hungry....and wanted to play....so daddy came down and gave me a bottle...but didn't seem to want to play....he had that "happy/sad look" again....and then showed me some pictures....and told me all about his "pop". He read me a story that many of you heard a few years ago---even I got a little misty with that one---'specially when grandpa said he was dancing with grandma....

I think grandpa sounds pretty cool....

Happy Happy Day Grandpa!!

Hollyn,

Your grandpa was such a special person in all our lives! Whenever you called him and asked what he was up to he replied with "Oh about 235" He was pretty funny sometimes! Enjoy all of the stories your dad tells you about him.
Love, your cousin,
Rachel

What an incredible man our Grandpa was... It wasn't very often that I'd get the chance to visit, but when I did, he always had something wonderful to talk about or share. My Dad would tell me stories of how your Daddy and him would do things to drive Grandpa nuts or even some pretty neat memories together.
Now that he's in heaven with Grandma and your Uncle Dan, I know each and every day they're watching us and helping guide our lives. Keep asking for those fun stories!
Love and Happy Birthday wishes to Grandpa=)

Hollyn, although we have not yet met I had the priviledge of having your grandpa in my life since I met your cousin Jennifer in 1993. There are many things I could say about him. Honestly, he is one of the finest people I have ever met. The thing I remember most is going over to the apartment and listening to him ramble on about his PC and him (along with grandma) always asking about how my parents were doing. Although I miss them both it makes me happy to know that they are together now like they always were. Happy B-Day Grandpa! Jennifer, Isabella, and I miss you both very much.
